Reduce Waste and Landfill
What is the pantry?
The pantry is a place where food may be shared. Give what you can, take what you need. This is our ethos.

Where does the food come from?
Most days of the week our volunteers travel to local supermarkets and collected their left-over goods to fill the pantry. While we receive the bulk of our food donations from supermarkets, we also received donations from you!
How can I help?
If you have excess, or something you won’t use, we’d love to have it. Someone else may be struggling and your donation might be the difference between a proper meal and going hungry. It feels good to give back, especially to your neighbours.

Safety Information
Especially when food is involved it’s important to consider what we put into and take out of the pantry. Please do not donate any refrigerated foods such as meats, dairy or frozen food. Please do not donate food in open packets (repackaged into labelled glass jars is acceptable). We cannot accept food which is significantly out of date.
When taking food from the pantry please be aware that you consume at your own risk. Visually inspect all food before consumption. Do a “sniff” test, and even a “taste” test before eating or cooking, particularly with high-risk items.
We do our best to reduce any bad food from sitting in the pantry but we cannot monitor this at all times. If you do see something you feel is not fit for consumption, please help us out by removing these items and throwing them away.
