GET INVOLVED
We have a very small team of volunteers who keep the pantry running. We have regular collections which occur directly through supermarkets and other stores. You will need a large car and the strength to lift heavy boxes and lots of food. Sometimes we may also need a hand unloading. If you’d like to help us with collections, please get in touch.​
CLEAN UP
With all of this food moving through our shelves, sometimes things sit for too long or get squashed and damaged. We have a green waste bin next to the pantry which can be used at any time (please, no plastic!). We love when our members help us by clearing out old food or empty packets and boxes. We just ask that you please use the right bins and flatten any boxes. If our bins (to the right of the house) are overflowing, please consider taking some of the waste home instead.
PANTRY MAINTENANCE
The pantry experiences quite a bit of wear, as it is exposed to the elements. We are always repairing one thing or another. If you have the skills, please help us out! If you see something that needs repairing, go right ahead and fix her up. We are currently in need of a bit of an overhaul. If you can help us out with a new design, or full on replacement, please get in touch.
